SOLD OUT- Queens is an enormous (and vastly under appreciated) New York City borough, teeming with ethnic diversity. As Himalayans, Peruvians, Tibetans, Colombians, Spaniards, Turks, Paraguayans, Koreans, Chinese, Mexicans, Italians, Irish, Jews and Japanese moved into tidy and affordable neighborhoods such as Astoria, Elmhurst, Long Island City, Forest Hills, Corona, Sunnyside, Woodside, Jackson Heights and Flushing, grocery stores and restaurants showcasing their native products appeared, giving these immigrants an opportunity to consume the comfort foods from their native lands. The tour departs Albany, NY at 7am and returns around 9:30pm. You can leave your vehicle in Albany and there is no charge to park. The cost of the tour is only $139 per person (plus gratuity), a genuine bargain. Don’t need transportation to and from Albany? No problem. You can meet us at our first stop and pay a reduced rate! These tours are limited to a maximum of 5-10 people so don’t wait too long to register. The Queens Food Tour takes place rain or shine. Bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast.
