Rick Bedrosian’s NYC Food & Theater Tour: “Sweeney Todd”

May 20, 2017 @ 7:00 am - 10:00 pm

THIS TOUR IS SOLD OUT  After having received rave reviews on London’s West End, Hugh Wheeler and Stephen Sondheim’s, “Sweeney Todd” is coming to New York City’s, Barrow Street Theatre. Directed by Bill Buckhurst and featuring a stellar cast that includes Albany, NY’s Carolee Carmello (Mama Mia, Parade, Scandalous, Kiss Me Kate, Sister Act, Finding Neverland, Tuck Everlasting), “Sweeney Todd” at the Barrow Theatre is one of the city’s hottest theater tickets. This production has been called a, “brooding masterpiece” and being part of the show in this intimate setting (many of the seats are part of the set) will certainly kick up the excitement factor. If she’s up for it shortly after the final curtain, we’ll even get a personal meet and greet with Ms. Carmello herself! Before and after the play, Rick will show you some of his favorite spots in the West Village and Chelsea. There will be time for lunch and sightseeing before “Sweeney Todd” and dinner after, prior to returning to Albany.

Greenwich Village is a tremendous place to sample some of the best food NYC has to offer without fighting huge crowds. Spend all day with eminent musician, food enthusiast, traveler and bon vivant, Rick Bedrosian as he guides you through the small winding streets, peculiar alleys, historic sites, old world restaurants and specialty shops that are abundant in Greenwich Village. Rick has eaten his way through the Village dozens of times, constantly seeking out the finest and cheapest fare Greenwich Village has to offer. He’s discovered some pretty significant landmarks too. The tour will take place rain or shine. Wear comfortable shoes and dress accordingly (light layers are always best). If the weather forecast calls for rain, be sure to bring an umbrella. There are several opportunities to consume alcoholic beverages but this tour is not a pub crawl.

We’ll be departing at 7am from Crossgates Commons, 161 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY. We’ll return at approximately 9:30pm. You can leave your vehicle at Crossgates Commons. There is no charge to park. The cost of the tour is $250 per person. Please make your check payable to October Eve Music LLC and mail it to: October Eve Music, PO Box 2, Delmar, NY 12054. Please include your name, the name of anyone else that you may be reserving for, mailing and email addresses and a cellphone number for you and each guest. Due to the limited number of seats, payment must be received in full and reservations will be taken in the order they arrive.  You must be at least 16 years of age and in good physical condition because this is a walking tour.
