USA-England. Depart USA for overnight flight to England.

Day 2

Tuesday

Arrive England – Liverpool. Morning Arrival where we are met by our driver guide. We start our journey in one of the most visited cities in the world. Liverpool has something for everyone from history and culture to fine food and old-time pubs. We begin with a panoramic view of the town. In Liverpool you can really feel the love. The city’s impressive cultural heritage boasts rich maritime history and numerous iconic buildings. We’ll stop for lunch (at your own expense) at Royal Albert Dock which many years ago was one of the world’s busiest seaports. You will also have time to take a ride on the Ferry across the Mersey, subject of a hit song by another Liverpool group that was produced by Sir George Martin, Gerry and the Pacemakers. This afternoon we’ll also visit the Beatles Story Museum (included), where you will be transported on an incredible journey detailing how 4 young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the heights of fame and fortune from their very humble beginnings. Then back to the hotel and free time tonight. Overnight at The Radisson Blu Liverpool.

Day 3
October 3
Wednesday

Liverpool. Today after breakfast we will meet up with our guide Jackie Spencer, who holds the coveted Blue Badge, the top qualification in tour guiding as recognized by travel companies worldwide. Jackie is one of Liverpool’s few officially certified Beatle guides and she is the best in the business. We will see the birthplaces, homes and schools where these young lads grew up. We will walk the golf course from John’s home to Paul’s home, exactly as they did from the day they met in Woolton Village on 6th July, 1957. We also will stop at the Casbah Coffee Club, which has hardly changed at all since the 1960’s and enjoy a beverage here. We also will meet up with Colin Hanton. Colin played drums with the Quarrymen from 1956 until 1959, playing with John, Paul and George. You will be fascinated listening to his stories of his friendships and all of their lives in Liverpool. Finally, we’ll have a meet and greet with Tony Bramwell, with time to stop at the grave of Eleanor Rigby, subject of Paul’s I 966 song of the same name. Then back to our hotel and enjoy time on your own this evening. Overnight at The Radisson Blu Liverpool.

Day 4
October 4
Thursday

Liverpool-London. After breakfast we depart for London. Along the way we will make a stop at Dusty Springfield’s Grave at St. Mary’s Church at Henley -on-Thames. Her husky, soulful voice earned her the distinction as being one of the greatest female vocalists to hail from Great Britain during the I 960s. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and died from complications of breast cancer the following year. Lunch today in the little town of Henley-on-Thames at your own expense. Continuing on, our next stop is Friar Park which is a 120-room Victorian neo-Gothic mansion in Henley-on-Thames, built in 1889. It was formerly owned by eccentric lawyer Sir Frank Crisp and purchased in January, I 970 by George Harrison. The site covers about 62 acres. George’s wife Olivia still resides here. Time for a photo op in front of the glorious iron gates of the Harrison home. Arrive London and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Back to our London hotel for check in and on your own this evening. Overnight at The Central Park Bavswater Hotel.

Day 5
October 5
Friday

London. Today we meet up after breakfast with our guide Glen Portch, also like Jackie a Blue Badged qualified tourist guide. Beatles touring will include a stop for lunch at “Sticky Fingers”, (included) Bill Wyman from the Rolling Stones restaurant. Today we will visit the MPL offices (Paul McCartney’s publishing company), Bag o’ Nails club where Paul met Linda, site of lndica Gallery where John met Yoko, Trident sound Studios (where “Hey Jude” and some of the “White Album” was recorded) and London Palladium where the term “Beatlemania” was (arguably) started. After stopping for lunch we will continue on to Brian Epstein’s company NEMS London Office and The London Pavilion where the movie premiers were held. Then we are off to 3 Savile Row which were the offices of the Beatles Apple Corporation. It was on the roof of the building on 30 January, 1969 where the Beatles performed live together for the last time. We will also see the house where Paul lived with Jane Asher and her family, whlch is where he wrote “Yesterday “as well as many other classic songs. There will also be stops in front of Paul’s present London digs, Abbey Road Studios and more. Then overnight at The Central Park Bavswater Hotel.
